Edge of Hell Haunted House - Kansas City, Missouri

Edge of Hell KC.jpgEdge of Hell Haunted House - Kansas City, Missouri

Take a trip through one of the truly scary places in Kansas City, the Edge of Hell Haunted House.  The facility has been scaring the wits out of people for decades.  Visit either the Edge of Hell or the Beast.

This amusement park is filled with fabricated phantasms and optical illusions to scare you while you are touring the facility.  The 24 foot Reticulated Python who looks like he could squeeze the breath out of you is one of them.  That creature is real. The Reticulated Python coiled up in a darkened nook of the cavernous turn-of-the-century brick warehouse at 1300 West 12th Street weighs 300 pounds (plus or minus, depending on when she has last eaten).  Fed regularly, the contented serpent generally just winks as the harried guests of the haunted house hurry past.  Among the “real live” creatures living in the haunted attractions are two Reticulated Pythons, an Anaconda and several Boa Constrictors, plus an eight foot alligator at The Beast.

The Edge of Hell opened its doors in 1975.

The Beast is filled with foggy forests, cemeteries and lurking monsters.  There are two newer attractions for you to visit too; The Chambers of Edgar Allen Poe and Macabre Cinema.

AVOID AVOID AVOID This business has some employees who use vulgar language, in front of your children. my wife and i went to the haunted house, and purchased the combo ticket for $116.00, last night , the 28th of october. Two different employees dropped the F-BOMB right in front of our 9 year old child repeatedly. We complained to a man who was supposedly a “manager”, the man looked like he was high , or drunk, and was not very accomidating to us , offering A WEAK APOLOGY, AND PROMISING TO REPRIMAND THE TWO EMPLOYESS, IF HE COULD FIGURE OUT WHICH TWO THAT WE TRIED TO DESCRIBE TO HIM. mY WIFE AND i ARE INFURIATED, OVER THIS INCIDENT, and we both were offended, by the fact we paid to have our child hear vulgar profanities, at this business. The manager refused to refund our money, this business is populated with mostly unprofessional scumbag losers and riff-raff ,not paid much most likely who cannot get a real job, other than the temp work here. Enter at your own risk applies to these haunted house businesses, but some common decency is not to be expected here. Take the high road, and avoid this lowlife gutter trash business, unless you also want to pay to have profanity hurled at your family..

Got something to say?
