Enchanted Caves

Built within a historic shoe factory’s spiral conveyor tunnel system, the caves emanate from deep within the heart of CITY MUSEUM.

World Aquarium
CITY MUSEUM welcomes World Aquarium! Our second floor is being transformed into a 13,500 square ft. aquatic waterworld to house over 10,000 creatures! The columns have become giant sea shells with castles and tunnels throughout! The aquarium will house fish, snakes, eels, turtles, and sharks!

The result is MonstroCity, the most monumental, monolithic, monstrous montage of monkey bars in the world.

Beatnik Bob’s, a bohemian hangout with The Museum of Mirth, Mystery and Mayhem where artist Bill Christman conveys the innocence, tawdry charms and cheesiness of the carnival midway and eccentric roadside attractions. everydaycircus is a place that makes every day a Circus Day with inspiring, interactive circus entertainment, memory-invoking circus food, fun, fabulous parties and exciting, educational circus classes.
Vintage Opera Posters
From the collection of John Frank Lesser, these posters range from an 1845 Russian announcement for a performance of Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia to the 2003 season poster for Opera Theatre of St. Louis. Many posters were created for world premieres or for early performances of operas by Puccini or Massenet.

Get off the Metro Link at the Convention Center Station.
This station is underground, so you need to come to street level on Washington.
Catch the westbound Delmar bus (Route #97).
Tell the driver that you are headed to CITY MUSEUM.
Ring the bell to stop the bus at 15th Street and walk 1 block north.
Buses run every 15 minutes.
