Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic Site - Florida, MO
Mark Twain was born about one-fourth mile north of this historic site in a rented cabin in the small town of Florida. The cabin is now preserved inside the museum at Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic Site. The historic site and surrounding Mark Twain State Park stand as a tribute to the author-humorist.
Louisiana Area Historical Museum - Louisiana, Missouri re-opened in May of 2006 after renovation to upgrade the facility.

Bethel Chapel AME Church - Louisiana, Missouri
Bethel Chapel A.M.E. Church was found in 1883 to serve the African-American population of Louisiana, Missouri. The current church was built in 1884 using native hand-pressed brick. The church continues to serve as a A.M.E. Church.

Louisiana Public Library - Louisiana, Missouri
Louisiana’s first and only public library is among the first ten Carnegie Libraries in the State of Missouri. Built in 1904.
The library is a late Gothic Revial style building, one story with a full, partially above ground basement.
River Heritage Museum - Clarksville, Missouri
The RHC is located in the lower level of the City’s Visitor Tourist Information Center on Highway 79 at the very north end of the town.
Birthplace Memorial Museum (Mark Twain) - Perry, Missouri the cabin in which he was born has been preserved for visitors the world over to see. It is located inside the Memorial Museum since it is small and worn. It was moved to this location from it’s original site in Florida, Missouri to preserve it inside the museum.
