Excelsior Springs Historical Museum - Excelsior Springs, Missouri The building is a historic resource in itself, but also houses a vast collection of artifacts from historic Excelsior Springs reflecting the mineral water and health industry, hotels, pre-history, and more.
Waterfest - Excelsior Springs, Missouri Waterfest celebrates the city’s mineral water heritage and will be held in the Hall of Waters Historic District. Waterfest, formerly a one day event, will be expanded to a three day event with a new format which will feature arts, crafts, music and many other special events for the entire family.

State of Missouri Arboretum - Maryville, Missouri On the campus of Northwest Missouri State University, over 1,300 trees provide spring flowers, summer shade, fall colors, and winter shelter. The arboretum containes over 111 tree species, ninety-four of which are deciduous broadleafs, fourteen are evergreen needleleafs, and three are deciduous needleleafs.
