Jones Memorial and Chapel – Mt Vernon, Missouri Jones Memorial and Chapel, built in 1961 as a "thank you" to the people by Lawrence K. Jones, is located northeast of town, adjacent to the golf course.
The stone building houses a wedding chapel and meeting hall and the Lawrence County Historical Society Museum.
The museum and cabin are open from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays from Memorial Day weekend through October and by appointment.
A visit to Mt. Vernon offers a wide range of smaller venues to visit, the jail, the museums, the shops and much more. Come and visit the charming community, you will be glad you did.

I would be very interested in a wedding ceremony at the chapel as well. Would you be able to provide me with contact information or put me in contact with whomever I would need to speak to there?
Thanks!
