The MWA organizes the annual Missouri Whitewater Championships, normally held on the 3rd weekend of March, on the St. Francis River near Fredericktown, MO.
2011 will host the 44th Annual Missouri Whitewater Championships to be held on the St. Francis River on March 19-20, 2011. This class II/III whitewater river is Missouri’s adventure gem.
The MWA also organizes a USCKT Pool Slalom in January each year.
It is tucked into the rolling hills of SE Missouri just 90 miles south of St. Louis. While running the St. Francis river in a canoe or kayak takes some whitewater skills, watching the slalom races is a good time for every member of the family. For those interested in building their own whitewater skills the same team teaches a 2 day clinic for kayakers and canoers on the same river April 30 & May1, 2011.
This organization promotes the conservation and preservation of all kinds of free flowing rivers and wilderness agreas. If you are interested in the outdoors, in whitewater rafting or any other type of water crafting you will want to keep this organization in your sites.
Food and drinks are available at the Boy Scout of America-Fredericktown Troop sales table. Missouri Whitewater novelty items are available at the MWA sales table, too!
The Missouri Whitewater Association holds an annual spring two-day clinic for kayak, open and decked canoes for people already possessing basic river paddling skills. The clinic is designed to introduce whitewater techniques on Class II whitewater. This is an ACA-sanctioned event.
There are a number of Missouri Paddling Clubs for you to check out and join. Enjoy the experience!

“Annual Missouri Whitewater Championships – Fredericktown/Arcadia, Missouri — Missouri Tourism” was in fact in fact compelling and useful!
Within the present day society that’s
quite hard to achieve. I am grateful, Jacinto
